Photographic History of Tauranga's Jazz Festival - 2019
The Photographic History of Tauranga's Jazz Festival on Tauranga's Strand, has come about through a collaborative initiative between Taonga Tauranga, Taylor Bros Transport Ltd, Tauranga City Council's Heritage Collection, Tauranga Jazz Society, Downtown Tauranga, Trustpower, Tuskany Agency and Tauranga's Historical Society. Senior Prize Winners
Lillie Scott and Liv Donavan-Grammerwere the winners of the Senior Essay competition. Lilly from Aquinas College won first prize of $1000.00 and Liv from Otumetai College was second with a $500.00 prize.

Tauranga students inspire with their museum designs: Taonga Tauranga helped run an Art Competition for Intermediate Students. The students were asked what their vision was for a Museum for Tauranga. Two of the winners: Mirakyl Mitchell, left, and Hillary Kip, both from Tauranga.
